Oil Changes

I know this is a bit off topic, but the principles ally to almost all scooters, Lambrettas included.The most important thing to do is regular oil changes for four stroke engines. Two stroke engines burn up their engine oil, and so you do not have to trouble yourself with changing it. Scooters only accommodate roughly a quart of engine oil. The larger Yamaha scooters have got oil filters, but Hondas do not have filters (only a small screen). Given the small engine capacity of nearly most scooters, they incline to get run hard. The low volume of oil, lack of an oil filter and high rpm use results to oil breakdown much faster than your in car. Ideally change the scooter oil about every 1000 miles. Yet UK-based entrepreneurs Fine White Line have now secured the worldwide rights to the Lambretta brand.  Following this, Fisher Outdoor Leisure has announced its new exclusive relationship with Fine White Line to develop a range of Lambretta bikes and accessories for the global market. Sevice for Jez Bird of the Lambretta’s

100’s of mourners attended a service to remember Lewes musician Jez Bird. St John the Baptist Church in Southover High Street was filled on Tues with family and friends to pay tribute to the lead singer of eighty’s mod band “The Lambrettas” who died on August 27 after a battle with cancer. The service included traditional hymns and a number of Lambretta’s songs especially requested by Jez. Among the mourners was Andy Davies, co-presenter and producer of Jonathan Ross’ BBC Radio 2 show. Groom told “on yer bike”

Heres a delightful article that I read in a local newspaper …………………………….   WHEN Wayne Whylie at last asked the big question to his loved one she told him “On yer bike”. But instead of being feeling snubbed, Andrea Berry’s man took her literally and planned a scooter-themed wedding with the help of his friends at the Macclesfield Kroozers club. Wayne and his mates turned up for the big day in a nine-scooter procession. And, dodging the traditional horse-drawn carriage, Andrea made her way to King Edward Street Chapel in a flower-strewn Volkswagen Campervan.
